definition | Distribution: Species within this genus are widely naturalised in disturbed places
and pastoral land. Native to Europe and in Australia is found only in NSW, VIC, TAS
and SA. Description: This genus consists of biennial herbs that grow up to 90 cm high with one or more erect stems from the base that has hairs that are appressed to spreading, dense and white.
