street and park trees. One species naturalised in Australia. Description: The species in this family are tall trees (to 30-50m) that are monoecious or deciduous. These grains are 20-25 grains in shape and are tricolpate. The colpi are short, straight and moderately wide. The key distinguishing feature of colpi are their ragged edges and studded with granules. The colpi ends are rounded and in line with the grain. The surface texture of these grains is microreticulate. |
