A CTD (acronym for Conductivity - Temperature - Depth) is a package carrying conductivity,
temperature and pressure sensors. The package can be mounted on different platform
like for examples Argo float, glider, marine mammals and moorings. Definal on the
type of platform used, the measurements of the different parameters are collected
through the vertical column of water or at fixed water depth.
